Add
a menu using a gadget
Add
a menu
using a gadget is like to add a javascript
counter. I have written a gadget,
see this xml file, and
an example which
uses this gadget, a table and an
inline frame. Using my xml file in
GPC you can have only 1 menu for
all your pages: when you have to
add a new link or remove a link you
have to remove a link just in 1 file.
With this gadget you can use your
own style modifying the options
in the style section, insert your
own javascripts menu and so on.
In order to write your gadget for
your site this is the procedure:
- Download
this file
- edit this xml file
using notepad
- insert your links,
your css preferences
- save the file with
the extension xml (I will call menu.xml)
- upload it in GPC
(so the link will be htt://yourusername.googlepages.com/menu.xml)
- go to http://www.google.com/ig/submit and
submit your gadget
- in GPC
enable experimental features
- click
on
"more" button, than on insert thirdy part gadget
- insert the link of
your gadget (the link will be like this htt://yourusername.googlepages.com/menu.xml)
- resize if you would
your gadget
- finish
- if you have question,
please contact me
If
you like, please insert a link in your pages to my
home page: http://gpc.tipstricks.googlepages.com
